Governance and compliance tools
Azure provides services to enforce standards, protect resources, and maintain compliance across your environment.
Microsoft Purview
Microsoft Purview is a unified data governance solution for managing and governing on-premises, multi-cloud, and SaaS data.
Azure Policy
Azure Policy defines and enforces rules and effects on resources to maintain compliance with organizational standards (e.g. allowed regions, required tags, permitted SKUs).
Resource locks
Resource locks prevent accidental deletion or modification of critical resources. Locks can be set to CanNotDelete or ReadOnly.
